Yuki sat still. "I KNOW I won't fit through that.....the other rocks are to big to be moved so we're suck for a while......."

Fang regarded the rocks a bit closer. "You may be right." He climbed down. "Good thing I brought this, eh?" He pulled a flint from his pocket and relit the fire that had gone out.

"I guess so." She said not really sure how another rock would help.

Fang paced the cave, looking antsy. "I hate being caged....." he muttered.

"Well we're just going to have to deal with it."

He turned towards her, surprised expression on his face. "Um, yeah. Guess so."

She just sat there with a calm exspression on her face, but on the inside she was freaking out.

Fang scanned their surroundings one last time, confirming there was absolutely no way out. "Well. We might be living in this cave for a long, long time. Got any food? I have a little..." He dug in his pockets, coming out with a bunch of random crackers. "Ugh. This is not going to be a pretty night without any Coke." He said it jokingly, but it was definitely the truth.

Yuki opened her backpack which pretty much had the whole fridge in it and gave it to him.

Fang stuffed the crackers in and threw it in a corner. "What now?" He asked her. This was an improvement, as normally he'd either 1) ignore her or 2) do whatever he felt like without asking her.

Yuki blushed and turned her head away from him before dropping the extremely heavy bag in his lap. Then returning to her spot.

"You've got nothing either? Hmph." He dropped down on a rock, hands on his knees and sitting Indian style. He looked younger then he was. "This will be boring, then." He drew a tic-tac-toe board in the dirt and began playing it with himself. Nice.

Fang wiped the board out with the heel of his hand, leaving a smooth dirt surface. He pulled his knees into his chest and sat on the rock, staring into space.

"Wanna talk about something?"

He blinked and turned his face towards her. "Like what?" There was a hint of curiousity in his voice.

She blushed. "I don't know.......What do you like?"

He looked taken aback, as if no one had ever asked him this question before. "I'm...not really sure. I'm usually running or fighting for my life, as you know. What do YOU like??"

"Anime, manga.......anything can happen in it! It can take you to other worlds, the future, the past, a magical land....The possiblibuilities are endless...and it makes me really hopefull....I probably sound really stupid right now, eh?

"Not really." He rested his chin on his knees and stared at the ground. "I've always thought it was weird you could be so full of hope. What gives? I mean, by all rights you should be furious at me, from the very moment you came here. Any normal person...i mean cat...would have demanded that I return them to their original form. Why didn't you?"

"It doesn't really matter to me as long as I can be near you..."

Fang frowned. "I don't get why you'd say that either. I've been nothing but rude to you."

"Yeah. But you can't help who you fall in love with, can you?"
