He shrugged off her question like he would a raindrop. "Nothing."

"Oi! then would ya just sit down and relax?! You're makin me nervous!!"

"No." Again with the one-worded replies! He pursed his lips. "After I finish up with this map business, Yuki, you should know I'm going back to wolf form." His favorite of all. You had to wonder what it was he liked about it so much. Eating carrion, trekking through snow...what was so great about being a wolf?

"Oooohhh we're gonna be wolves?!"

With a sigh he half-turned away. "I was afraid you would say that. Are you sure? Wolves are the most dangerous form you've been in yet. A wolf has no allies." He was referring to humans, most of all.

"YEs they do!!! I'm your ally!!!!" *Oblivious to it all*

A hint of a smile crossed his face. "I wasn't referring to that. I was referring to the fact that as soon as you become a wolf everyone but your pack will see you as an enemy." For the first time since Fang had appeared back in this mansion, a real smile settled across his features; one of happiness, not amusement. "I will probably be challenged to several fights right away. Just so you understand."

"Oh....okay."

He didn't seem upset about this at all. "Where the heck is Nezumi????" he mumbled under his breath, face taking on it's accusing and yet blank gleam once again.

"Eh? you could be here for days until she comes.....and don't even think about trying to track her down....I've tried that!! Turned out horrable!!"

"So you said." Once again he began mumbling, mostly to himself, "She probably won't even have a clue about the map, and I'll be wasting all this time for nothing." Of course, typical idiot he was, he had no clue how rude what he was saying was. Especially to Yuki.

Yuki glared at the television so he wouldn't see the hurt he caused that show greatly through her eyes.

He cracked his knuckles again, then pulled a stick from his leathery jacket, along with a knife. Pulling the knife down the end of the stick he began to carve a sharp point on the end.

Yuki got up making sure he couldn't see her face and ran upstairs to her room and cried.

Fang watched her go, unaware that she was sad nor that he had said something that caused her to be sad. With a shrug he turned back to the stick. Slice, slice, slice...

Suddenly a short red-brown haired girl ,wearing a bright yellow sundress(in the middle of winter), skipped into the mansion. "SSSHHHIIIAAAHHHH!!!!"

Fang jumped. Literally. He was on his feet in half a second, cutlass out. When he saw who it was he relaxed. Or, rather, put his cutlass back in its sheath. When did he ever relax?

"Hellloo and who are you? and do you know where Miku-san isss?"

"Fang. No." The shortest reply in history.

"But she LIVES HERE-AH!!! I bet she's in her room!!!" Ai exclaimed before skipping up the stairs.

Fang restrained himself from rolling his eyes.

Ai came down a few minuates later dragging Shia who had tear stains on her pale face now.

Fang blinked, eyes taking on a strange glint. "Something wrong?" It was beginning to get dark outside and his eyes were somewhat creepily glowing in the dark.

"Mind you! Miku-san is always in her room doing something bad!!" Ai blurted out. Yuki glared at her.

Fang shrugged and turned back to his knife. The stick he was carving had a wicked point on the end now.
