"Yeah, I never have anyone to talk to either." With a shrug he dropped down next to her. "All my littermates died in a cold snap. I was the only one strong enough to survive."

"My littermates abandoned me then tried to make me a vampire....and Fang-kun never listens to me!"

He snorted. "Fang-sama never listens to anyone. I'm Solo." A humorless smile crossed the silver wolf's lips. "They named me that since I was the only one left."

"ah! Maybe we can travel together or something!" Yuki said with a smile.

Solo actually looked interested. "Travel? What do you mean by that?" Clearly he wasn't one of those wolves who'd been other species.

"You know, going to unknown places, just going where you feel like going. Being free to do what you what where ever you want to!" she had a large smile on her face and a dazed look in her eyes.

"I...I've never been out of this forest," Solo admitted somewhat sheepishly.

"I have! We could explore the wonders the world holds! That is, if you want to...."

Solo smiled warmly. "I'd love to. I am sure you know where to go, also." With another one of those almost sheepish looking shrugs he added, "I've always wanted to see a desert."

"Me too! or maybe a tundra!"

Solo smiled slightly. "That'd be cool too," He readily agreed. "You know, I didn't realize until you said you like travelling how sick I am of this forest!"

"Really? Me too! I think we should go to a tropical island!"

Once again Solo looked interested. "What's an island?" He asked curiously. "It sounds cool."

"An island is like a small bit of land surrounded by water!"

Solo seemed confused. "If it's surrounded by water, how do you get there?" Being a wolf, he'd never even imagined a boat of any sort. Of course, swimming was still an option...for short distances.

"Act cute and followed the humans! They have this thing that floats on water!"

His eyes widened. "You went near...humans? You are more brave than I thought. Fang says that humans are crazy and dangerous. He thinks we should stay away from them. But I never really believed him.."

"Most of them are fine as long as you act sweet and cute around them! They only do things to ya if ya act mean and bite them and stuff! Pfft! Fang don't know what he's talking about!"

Solo grinned. "My thoughts exactly. Fang and I have never really gotten along. He's too serious."

"He's only nice to me if he wants something...."

"Exactly! Wow, you're the first one around here to agree with me. Like everyone else WORSHIPS Fang. Not literally, of course. But they wouldn't say a word against him, even when he is wrong. Sometimes I wish someone would teach him a lesson."

Yuki let out an evil laugh "I think so too! We should make his fur pink!"

Solo's eyes bugged out. "Can you DO that? AWESOME!"

"Yup! Come on we have humans to suck up to!"Yuki exclaimed as she ran out of the camp.

Solo looked surprised, than ran after her. "Where are we going first?" he asked.
